NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING AND COMMENT PERIOD / by Matt Rubin

The City of Toledo and 445 10th Street LLC. are conducting a public meeting and accepting public comments on the removal of hazardous materials from 445 10th Street, Toledo, Ohio.

 445 10th Street LLC. is announcing plans to remediate asbestos and other hazardous materials within the structures of the former Andrus Building with support from a U.S. EPA Brownfield Cleanup Revolving Loan from the City of Toledo.  The remediation is necessary to allow for building renovation in a manner which protects public health and the environment in compliance with local, state and federal regulations.

The public is invited to attend a Public Meeting to provide information about the remediation action.

The Public Meeting will be held on Monday, October 29, 2018 at the Kent Branch Public Library Room B, 3101 Collingwood Blvd., Toledo, Ohio 43610 from 6:00-6:30 p.m. The Meeting will be a formal open house format allowing the public to stop by anytime between 6:00-6:30 pm. City of Toledo representatives, environmental consultant, and developer will be on hand to answer questions. Public comments can be made in writing and submitted by mail through October 31, 2018 to:
